Woodall Shoals

Park in the gravel lot and take the paved trail by the sign. Easy 1/4 mile walk down to the river. Good size sandy beach and slower pool that could be used for boats. Go a little up stream and you'll see the rock face. Great spot for 1/24 all the way up to 1/6 scale. In the summer WATCH OUR FOR COPPERHEADS. There are lots of small pools of water between rocks that they like to hangout in.
