For Hobby Shops

Put your hobby shop on RCMap

RCMap is where drivers look for places to crawl, race, bash, and buy parts. Add your store so nearby drivers can find it at the moment they are planning the next run.

Why List

Be visible when local drivers are deciding where to go.

A shop listing puts your storefront in the same planning surface as local crawling spots, tracks, scale courses, clubs, and competitions. Drivers can see where you are, what kind of RC destination you run, and how to get there.

01

Get found by nearby drivers

RCMap gives hobbyists a local map first. Your shop appears where drivers already look for places to drive, meet, and stock up.

02

Show what kind of shop you run

Choose the shop category that fits: shop only, shop with a track, shop with a scale course, or a shop with both.

03

Give events a local home

Once the listing is live, the place page can show race nights, meetups, swap meets, and other events tied to your location.

Event Marketing

Promote the nights that bring drivers through the door.

Use your shop page as a steady reference point for recurring race nights, crawler meetups, demos, build sessions, and swap meets. If an event already has a registration page or Facebook event, add that link when you post it.

How It Works

Add the listing through the existing Submit flow.

RCMap uses the same moderation path for shops as it does for other community-submitted places, so the listing can ship without a new owner-profile system.

  1. 1

    Open Submit

Start with Add your shop. If you are not signed in, RCMap asks you to sign in first; then the form opens with Hobby Shop selected.

  2. 2

Drop the pin at the storefront

Use the real public entrance or parking area so drivers route to the right place.

  3. 3

    Choose the best shop type

Pick plain Hobby Shop, or choose a track and scale-course variant if those are available on site.

  4. 4

    Share the live page

After moderation, send customers to the RCMap place page and use it to surface future events.

FAQ

Common questions from shop owners

Is it free to list a hobby shop on RCMap?

Yes. Use the existing Submit flow and choose Hobby Shop or the matching shop category.

Can I claim and manage my shop profile today?

Not yet. Claimable owner profiles are a future version, so this page only points to the listing and event tools that exist today.

What if my shop has a track or scale course?

Choose the category that matches your location: Hobby Shop with Track, Hobby Shop with Scale Course, or Hobby Shop with Scale Course and Track.

How do drivers find shops right now?

They can use the map and search to discover shop pins near the places they drive.
