I went in to Find an adapter for my battery and a did not have it so they said that they could solder it for me but they said I would have to leave the battery and it would be days... If you don't mind waiting this is OK for you but if you need it done right away go to the shop in Pasadena Maryland they will hook you up right away... The store is a lot better and the people seem to know more about the products... The last time I went into remote control hobbies it was a young kid that really did know what I was looking for... Bay area computer and Hobbes in Pasadena is the best hobby shop in the Baltimore area there is not many hobby shops around that are as good as them
WENT IN TO THE STORE ASKED FOR A BATTERY FOR A DRONE I HAD PURCHASED. TOLD HIM WHAT IT WAS AND HE POINTED ME TO A BATTERY, THINKING HE KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING CAUSE I DIDN'T I PURCHASED THE BATTERY TO FIND OUT THAT IT WOULDN'T EVEN RUN THE DRONE THAT I HAVE. SO I CALL HIM AND HE SAYS WELL I CAN GIVE YOU STORE CREDIT AND WAS VERY SNOTTY I SHALL SAY. SO NOW I HAVE A USELESS BATTERY AND THEY DON'T HAVE A BATTERY I CAN USE SO I GUESS BECAUSE I LISTENED TO THE GUY THERE I LOST MY MONEY. AND I'M FROM PA SO IT WAS A WASTE OF AN EXPERIENCE TRYING A NEW HOBBY SHOP. THE GUY SOLD ME SOMETHING FALSE AND SAID HE WOULDN'T REFUND ME ON HIS SCREW UP. DOT WASTE YOUR TIME PEOPLE THERE IS DEFINITELY NICER PLACES TO SPEND YOUR MONEY'
I am a newbie with RC cars and trucks. Mike was amazing and took his time showing me everything I needed to know. I never felt rushed and had a great shopping experience!! Highly Highly Recommend and love supporting small businesses!!
First time buyer, and new repeat customer. Steve walked me through every step of the process and made it easy for me to understand as someone who had never been in the hobby before.
Store itself was clean, well stocked, and organized. While I don't know exact parts yet, I imagine they have anything someone serious about the hobby needs.
Will be back for sure.
I worked with Mike. Great guy, very helpful and knowledgeable. Store has lots of parts and cars. There wasn’t a part I needed they couldn’t provide me. Service and price much better than online. I’ll be back!
