Cowles Mountain Trail & Summit

If you like Crawling and Trailing then this is the mountain for you! Park and the corner of Navajo and Golfcrest. The trail up is a great workout, both for you and your rigs! Be sure to bring plenty of water and spare parts as this trail will test your rig. I was able to strap a 24th to the back of my pack and haul that to the top. It was a new strang decision that I'm glad I made! The top of the mountain is a wonderland for 10th and 24th scale and anything in between. There's one big main area and a few side spots. Across the service road is another spot to crawl or just chill and watch the city. I had originally planned to continue to Pyles Peak but a few rocky features drained too much of my batteries. I'll get it next time! Don't like a rocky trail? Take the dirt service road! It's great for the whole family!
