I love this place hands down. I visited a hobby shop on smoky hill road and did not get the reception I generally expect in any establishment so I went to Action Hobbies and now will drive the 25 miles to support his business. The staff is great knowledgeable and I always meet new and interesting hobbyists. Although one time he did not have the part to fix my flux capacitor I was blown away, but he instead sold me a Castle ESC for my 380 goblin and that was what I needed. Good job.
The old owner at this place was awesome. Great customer service and would always try to find a part even if he didn't have it. The new owner is definitely the polar opposite. Every time I go in here I never get greeted. He rarely has the parts that I need. It completely blew me away that he did not even know what a banana wiring harness to go into a standard 2-cell battery was. It's a very standard RC part and he had no clue what it was. mainly because all the batteries he sells are hardwired batteries. Pretty sad. I won't really be shopping here anymore.
Love this place. Great atmosphere.. Very friendly and knowledgeable.
Too bad some people buy stuff from online store and expect parts to be carried by the local hobby shops, then get mad because these parts are not off the shelf in local stores.
Good selection of parts and RC models. Drones, cars , Helios...
