Play golf out at Bidwell a lot. Great old course winding through the park and along the creek. Great place for a hike as well, with a lot of options for shade or sun depending on the weather. Never gets old. Great place to enjoy wildlife also, including black bear, deer, fox, bobcats and mountain lions. Too much to see in one day, worth multiple trips.

Upper Bidwell park is always a beautiful place to go for a bike ride maybe just a walk on a trail with your girl or you want to spend some time with the family and go for a swim. There is plenty of trails plenty of areas to swim and I've honestly never had a bad experience there. Just when you think you have explored ever trail or swimming home that the is, trust me you haven't because you'll find another trail.

This park has so many different points of interest to discover. I started out with the basic Monkey Face hike, trip to Bear Hole via Yahi Trail or walking the upper trail. What is unique about this park is that there is so much more to it, some things you won't discover until quite a few trips down the road because there are more trails and sights then easily meet the eye, and I have yet to discover the end of a trail by walking. It's beautiful, but depending on where you go not a lot of shade is available, so you might be best off planning visits around the temperature.

Great place to bring your dog off of a leash for runs and hiking. Plenty of trails and small swimming areas to cool off. There are wonderful trails to explore and many parking areas.

I love that this place has everything you could want. There's baseball parks regular parks grassy fields, barbecue areas, picnic areas, Scenic walking trails that go along the creek. And the water is pretty clear until it gets churned up when you walk in it but it's a great place to cool off
