It's always so quiet and everything about it is picturesque. If you close your eyes while you're sitting in the car and your windows are down and it's warm, not hot, it's like sitting outside of your cabin when you in the mountains. The smell of the pine needles and the walking trail is prefect.
We love this park! The play structure is nothing to write home about, but it has lovely trails and lots of trees. It always makes me feel like I'm on vacation in the woods. There are also rocks towards the back of the park that my children love to climb.
Love the frisbee golf course, but it is confusing sometimes which hole you're supposed to aim for. They change it up every once in a while but don't have updated maps of each hole. Also, the cactus is unreal so wear close-toed shoes!
It was a nice stop on our way through Dickinson. The trees are mature and add to the parks atmosphere
