I feel blessed to have grown up here. There is so much history and so many unique landmarks both natural and man made. Mt. Pleasant being one of those landmarks is not only unique in and of itself but truly feel that the uniqueness of "the mountain" is more than it's physical presence. There is a documented history to Mt. Pleasant that surpasses the the town it overlooks. Like many small towns, on the street level it seems that Lancaster has seen its better days, but from the top of Mt. Pleasant, above all the busy streets, the town still looks as it did when I was kid.

When I get a chance to go to Rally's in Lancaster, we always go up to the park. It's beautiful, ponds, free fishing for 13 and under, catch and release. Many different things for kids to play. Hiking as well. I highly recommend you to visit rising park in Lancaster, Ohio.

We live climbing the mountain and reliving the memories of years ago when my parents were young. We enjoy sitting and watching the fountain in the beautiful pond. My children enjoyed all of the wonderful options to climb, spin, or swing in the park

This Park is A hidden Gem I grew up going eith my mom we drove an hour to go every year now it had been over 10 years since I had been back it was suoer nice new playground but the main things around the park were still so well maintained exactly how I remembered it. I would recommend anyone to go at least once and walk up the hill to look out on a clear day you can see Downtown Columbus its unreal

There are so many beautiful public places to enjoy the outdoors in Lancaster in can be hard to choose. Rising park has always been a favorite of mine. Variety of activities such as horseshoe pits, tennis courts, catch and release fishing, lots of picnic space and Mount Pleasant overlook for those willing to climb. Overall one of the best parts of Lancaster!
