Fun place to spend a weekend camping trip. The owner is awesome, super friendly and really cares about you enjoying your stay. Volley ball, horse shoes, and a play area for the littles. Only down side is getting to the lake. For boaters you have to drive about 10 minutes to the boat launch. You have to walk a ways from camp to the lake and part is fairly steep. But once you're down there it's a fantastic spot to spend the time by the water and explore around.
It's a nice campground. But, for a couple looking for a peaceful getaway to enjoy nature, this is not the place. The campsites are pretty close together. You can hear everyone's conversations. There a quiet rule 10pm-8am, but you cant do anything about dogs barking and kids shouting at 6am. I did hear a 10yr old boy tell his dad this is the best vacation he's ever been on. So it's a good place for families.
It was beautiful and peaceful and CLEAN!!! The campground sites and lake were very well kept. And the port 'o' potties were the cleanest I have ever used! I am already planning my vacation for next year there!
Once again this place is AWESOME. The grounds are beautiful and clean. Can't wait until next year to do it again.
Our family had a wonderful time. We rented the cabins for our first family camping trip. Ashley is awesome!
