I'm only giving one star so hopefully more people can see this review. Please do not park at the Southern entrance of the park. We came back from a walk down to the beautiful river to find our car's rear window had been smashed for pleasure, nothing was stolen. Luck

This is a really nice park. Easy hiking and great for dogs and horses. It's a little tricky to find, but overall really nice experience.

Beautiful unexpected place for a bit of light hiking. Deer & horse tracks all over, bald eagles & red tails... From the South parking lot you can access the river if you explore via the lower road that is blocked to vehicles & then walk through a grassy meadow. You can hear a lot of traffic, but I imagine if you get a little deeper in, you start to feel a bit more secluded. Looking forward to taking some more time to get to know this lovely place.

This is the second time I've been here and I can't wait for the next time. It's easy to get to, parking is free, and you don't need a Discover Pass. Other hikers, bikers, and equestrians are all very polite and friendly. The trails are easy enough for a novice and they have map boards throughout so you can always figure out where you are. The only bathrooms are the two portables at the entrance and fortunately they are well maintained. You'll want to pack bug spray and water for sure.

Lovely and full of greenary place for hiking with your pets, but on leash. Bike friendly and horse friendly. It looks like people don't clean up after their dogs/horses. That way it was very dirty and not so well maintained. Always safe to keep your dogs on leash since there could be wildlife encounter. I was expecting to photograph some birds but didn't find any. Though heard them chirp. Couple of trails were closed for restoration when I went there. Parking is free. Portable toilets were very bad. Good place to get you and your dog some exercise and get exhausted.
