First, when I walked into the store I was completely ignored although I was the only customer in the merchandise area. Second, the guy employee with the blonde hair was not interested in helping me. Moreover, I did not appreciate his sarcasm with regard to my needs. He has a terrible attitude and disposition. As of today, Larry's Performance RC has lost my business, as well as the business of several of my family members and friends. We were customers for years; that's over. So keep up the atrocious and humiliating customer service and I can assure you that your business will suffer immensely. There are several better hobby shops in the area with owners and employees that really care about their customers. For anyone reading this review, I urge you to make Larry's Performance RC your very last option.
Update! Since the above post, I have one word to describe Larry's RC - Redemption. The service has since been exceptional!
First time here and the employee was super helpful! Knowledgeable and spent time to not only tell me about products but explain the with details. Very nice place will be going here for future needs.
They have a huge selection of vehicles and parts for every type of RC. Employees there have always been friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are great. There are also several indoor tracks.
I ran my Slash 2wd on their track and it broke. I went to have it repaired at the repair center and they told me it would be $12 dollars plus the parts that need to be replaced. My mom picked it up the following day, because it broke around closing time, and the bill was $43. They did not try to contact me in any way way so I could approve the updated price. My mom being the rc "expert" she is did not ask for the controller when they didn't give it to her w/ the car. I am going on vacation tomorrow and was planning on leaving at 9:30, we now, not only have to delay our plans but we have to go out of our way to pick up the controller. Horrible experience.
Great customer service. They have a large inventory and the staff is very helpful when it come to upgrading your RC cars.
