Follow the signs for the whitewater boating area, and walk out onto the rock across the whitewater area and along the man made rock wall to the base of the dam. This is a common fishing area and it's easy to access while the boating park is not in use (it's only used a select few times per year) and there's some pretty good crawling here. You can also check all along McCall's Ferry RD between the dam and the 372 bridge for trail heads which offer easy access to the river with even more rocks to crawl including a few cool rock islands. I frequently spend 1-4 hours crawling along this section of the Susquehanna River.
