This place has everything going for it. We called last minute for a site and they were more than happy to help us out. Very friendly people that are seasonal campers. The staff is very helpful! You need your skills in this place to maneuver your travel trailer, but you can make it. This is our sith time staying there and are already making decisions on when to visit next year.
Our family had a blast camping here. It was full of happy fun people and and plenty of fun activities. We made memories that we will never forget. We will be returning next summer for our next camping trip. Can't wait to get back.
Hands down, the BEST place around to go camping. My parents had a camper here for years, and now my husband and I have one. Our children love it as much as we did when we were their age. The staff is amazing, we truly feel at home here. It just gets better every year. Kenny has made so many wonderful improvements in the past few years. Highly HIGHLY recommended.
So much fun. A nice staff with tons to keep you occupied while staying here. They eve have a petting zoo and a 9 hole disc golf course. I live in philadelphia and I will take the drive to stay here again.
We stayed in a cabin. They are spaced with room to play and relax, not crowded. Lots of shade. They are not luxury beds, but they are LOTS better than sleeping on the ground! AC and mini fridge included. The kids were torn between all the fun things to do at the campground, and all the fun to be had at the ocean! Bath house was a reasonable distance to all the cabins. Some people complained, on reviews, about the bathrooms being dirty. Here's the thing: its sandy. Every time the restrooms were cleaned (which was morning and evening) people walked in with their sandy feet and tracked them up again. So, yes, it's at the shore, and you will have to deal with sand in the cabins, in the restrooms, and in the showers. But the cleaning crew does a great job of cleaning up as often as possible. They have trash service to each site. All you need to do is put your garbage bag out by the lane for the morning pick up. If you like a quiet stay, book weekdays. There was about 1 in 10 spaces booked on the week days. Lots of space. Much emptier pool, restrooms, etc. Our Sat night was much fuller and noisier with the tenters next to us loudly playing an outdoor movie until 11pm. We were glad to have the hum of the AC unit in our cabin to drown out that noise. The rest of the nights (Sun to Tues) were quiet and we could enjoy the bug songs at night. Thank you, Holly Lake Crew, for a great stay!
