Absolutely the best hobby shop in NC/SC area. Looks and feels like the hobby shops of yesterday where the owner and help can really talk to a modeler and give advice on building a better model. Model inventory is top notch, paint, accessories, magazines, decals, all the necessary goodies. Oh, they also carry a good inventory on HO trains. GO
I first started shopping at Hayes when I was a little boy on a bicycle buying plastic airplane models. I'm now 71 and I still shop there.
NEVER have I seen a business as dedicated to true customer satisfaction as the Hayes family. They honestly treat everybody like a friend, they offer superior support service and it really DOES MATTER that you are happy.

Great place to do business. Friendliest people that you'll ever do business with. They go above and beyond to ensure that the customer is satisfied. I see why their still in business after 50 years!
Very knowledgeable staff. Everytime I need help these people have answers or can get one fast. Great selection, top of the line service, and super nice people.
