Very cool place. Interesting, history packed. Staff and volunteers were helpful, knowledgeable and nice!

This place is amazing have to go when the water is down!
I don't understand why it only has 2 reviews lol. This place is magical. It's a local fav to go alone, with family, friends, or your partner. Kids love it too. When the water is low you can see so many fossil beds, when the water is very high you can sit on the higher fossil beds/rocks and listen and watch the tide and waves. Some people even fish at one part. That's the actual beds, but there are also sidewalks above on ground that lines the coast of the river, a park and kids park, and we have an ice cream business that is in a charming old house. They rent out bicycles now too I believe.
