One of the best off leash parks for your pups. The odd time you will encounter dog owners who bring their dog-aggressive dogs and let them off leash without any recall. But 90% of the time it's a great place.
Very nice off leash dog park. It is quite large and clean. Enjoyable walk while the dog runs and plays. The other dog owners were friendly. The only thing that I can suggest is maybe a few more garbage bins so we don't have to carry the bags so long.
Great place to let the dogs loose and be dogs. Large community area for them to get relaxed and get to know one another before a nice walk around the large park. If your dog is agresive this is not the place to bring it as dogs and owners come here to let the dogs loose and play together without confrontations.
Come to Bruce Pit to mix and mingle with other dog owners. Big dogs and dogs that like to play abound.
There is a micro community of regulars who maintain the communal water supply.
In terms of nature trails, this place is a mix of forest and sand. A nice loop to hike... About 1km, and recommended even if you don't have a dog.
One last note, free parking and do be considerate. Drive slow when picking your spot or leaving This is a dog park.
Good local dog park. Grrst place to take the kids and dogs out on a walk. Most owners are responsible. The after effects of the tornadoes of 2018 are devastating and impressive. The open field is a great place to socialize your pet.
