Went to a talk on pollinators at the Smith House. Great talk by the Ohio St. Extension. Always pick up new information and like talking with people that share the same interest. After talk we took a short walk through the prairie to their beehives.Very interesting and the prairie was full of late summer flowers. I have never been to tbe Park before ,it's a beautiful area.Plan on taking a walk on some of the trails with my husband a 2 dogs shortly .

Terrific park. Plenty of diverse walking/hiking trails and there is a great playground. Leave the video games at home and take the family out for a great afternoon. The trails include both meadows and forest. There is a small pocket library by the playground so everyone can find something to enjoy.

Great park. New Playground installed right next door. This whole park kind of blends into multiple open spaces. Great place for kids, new bathrooms, lots of hiking opportunities, soccer fields. This place is usually pretty bust when the weather is nice so keep that in mind. It is clean, well kept, and overall a solid park.

The playground at the Forest Field entrance is huge and has a lot of variety - climbing, swings, slides, percussion, spinning. There are shady areas, benches, and picnic tables so it's easy to spend a long time here. There is plenty of parking. Lots of opportunities to learn about nature as well. Overall, very fun!

Went there to bird and got to hear and record Wood Thrushes singing. The hiking and scenery is wonderful and I come here every year when I visit my mom. There are creek crossings with large, flat rocks to make for an easy, safe crossing. Also built in wooden staits for some steep hills. The trails are well-marked with map kiosks and trail markers.
