Union pass between Kingman and bullhead city on SR68 used to be a gas station. Some buildings are still there. Please be careful, these buildings are abandoned and not maintained. There are no functioning restrooms so come prepared. I believe it may be private property but I have never had any issues, with that being said please be extra respectful of the location so we don't end up loosing it. During cool weather I like to get people together here for all day trail runs and rocks crawling with a BBQ for lunch halfway through. This is a very large area to explore so if you want to just get in a quick crawl this might not be the spot for you. However, if you want to wander around with a few extra batteries and get in a few hours or more of hiking this is probably my favorite spot.
Bicycle World is a bicycle shop with radio control stuff. Closed Thursday, Saturday Sunday. As for a hobby shop, it's not big but Bill is helpful and knowledgeable. Do not confuse this shop with the tire shop 2 doors down, they still have signage for a hobby shop up but are no longer a hobby shop.
Nice spot for a mix of technical crawling or trailing.
Great park, easy to get to, easy to park. You can fish, hike, pan for gold, and of course run your tiny truck on plenty of trails that spiderweb through the park. Just be mindful on the south side of the lake, the hill is steep and it's possible to roll your rig into the water.
Bring your paddle tires! This spot just happens to be one of the easiest to get to sand dunes in Barstow. Barstow has many sand dunes spots, this is just the easiest to access by regular car. If you are not from Barstow you REALLY need to go to one of the Barstow Del Tacos. It was founded here and is still ran by the original family. Oh, uhh rc cars and stuff... Great spot if you have anything with paddle tires, especially a slash 2wd based sand rail.
Support your favorite parts provider by braking the s#!t out of your basher! Visit skatepark, buy replacement parts, repeat.
Historical trail where you can still see the ruts formed by horse drawn wagons. Lots of crawling lines to be found in any difficulty level.
Long easy trail. Bring water, it takes you kinda far from your 1/1 car.
Very cool camp, trail, crawling spot. The farther you get in, the harder it gets. I have heard that all the way up at the end there is a spring, but I am too fat to get up the last squeeze.
Really good for having the kids tag along. Historical sites with plaques along the trail that describes each part and former building. It's a short loop but there are some good lines along the outer edge if you want to crawl.
